Alison Sealy-Smith is an award-winning Barbadian-Canadian actor and director best known to fans as the iconic voice of Storm in the legendary X-Men: The Animated Series, a role she has triumphantly reprised in Marvel’s X-Men ’97 and What If…? Her powerful portrayal of the weather-controlling goddess has defined the character for generations of fans.
Beyond the X-Mansion, Alison’s extensive voice credits include Gamora in Silver Surfer, Scarlett in Delilah and Julius, and roles in Spider-Man and Sailor Moon. On screen, she has appeared in a vast amount of films such as Honey, Dark Water, Talk to Me, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and had recurring roles in TV series like Street Legal and Naturally, Sadie.
A powerhouse of the stage, Alison is the founding Artistic Director of the Obsidian Theatre Company and has won multiple Dora Mavor Moore Awards for her acclaimed theater performances.
